Future Plans
We continue to play regularly at public and private dances (for all forthcoming events see the Diary). Hopefully we'll play at some more Folk Festivals in the not-too-distant future - festival organisers please note!
For the last 6 years the band, their families and friends have spent an annual weekend away in remote locations in the north of England. We hope to organise more of these weekends away, and also to have more occasional day workshops with selected experienced musicians and callers.
Past one-day tutors have included Robin Dunn, Brian Peters, David Oliver, Martin Dunn, Ian Stephenson, Joey Oliver, Cath James, Emily Ball, Carolyn Francis, Jenny Coxon and Paul Walker, and Sophy Ball.
For the future we will be looking out for more great tunes, arranging and re-arranging dance sets, and generally exploring the noble art of playing music for dancers.
